I have a belkin Dual Band router for my two latops that have wireless n mini cards....?
the router was set up with a 2.4 ghz connection and a 5ghz connection. commo sense would say go with the 5, but thee 2.4 one always has more bars? why is that? should i just keep connecting to the 5?
they are next gen wireless n mini cards...the 2.4 seems to connnect best- ocassinoally ig et booted off and have to reconnect but that seems to be par for the course?
Use 2.4 GHz because you have better signal. You won't be able to utilize the 5 GHz unless everything on your network is also on 5 GHz (your mini cards are probably not 5 GHz).
