Im looking to boost my horses and fuel economy and Im interested in an Explorer Stage 3 Surge O2 Chip Combo?
I drive a 1999 Ford Explorer, all stock. When it says stage three do I need to go through the steps or can i just get this and call it a day? I also will be throwing in a 200 amp alternator with a yellow top battery, will this hurt anything? I need those for a 2000 watt Stereo System. The more information I get back the better.
no ic engine is more than 28% efficient, so more horses and better economy are mutually exclusive, you can only get more horses by burning more fuel, 2000 watts is about 4bhp so you will lose that as well
